Oops...
With my longest tenure of employment being in a public Library, you'd think I'd have learned a thing or two...assume not, gentle reader. My books were a catastrophic three months overdue, and I'd forgotten my card, rendering me impotent on the borrowing front. My thanks go to the Kawasaki Public Library Service, with their 'no fines' policy.

You should have had a reply to this by now, I am thinking!! An ex-librarian? with overdue books? Tsk tsk!!!!!
My largest library fine ever was 41 bucks! I finally signed up to get automatice renewal notices in my email and I renew books online when I cant get in. It's saved me a ton of money!
To my eternal shame I have to confess that I rarely visit the library these days. Too many books - too little time. I have bought many that I have not yet read. Ah well - roll on retirement!!
