Isn't embracing your history & heritage a good thing? Here they make it sound like an insult! Or maybe it's just bad Engrish :-)... PS: Europe rocks! (sorry about that, just needed to be said)
I recall being impressed by that exact line of text on a diary in a Tokyo bookshop some four years ago.
Clearly a perennial bestseller, ね？
